Men’s Wellness of North Alabama is proud to have Joshua Rogers as a vital member of our dedicated medical team. Joshua is a highly trained Medical Provider who completed the prestigious military Physician Assistant Program (Inter-Service Physician Program) and holds a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to our clinic.
With a bachelor's degree in Psychology, a minor in Chemistry and Military Science, and a master’s degree in Clinical Anatomy, Joshua has established a robust foundation in healthcare. His journey began with service as a Combat Medic in the Army National Guard, instilling in him a deep commitment to providing specialized care.
At Men’s Wellness, Joshua is passionate about addressing the unique health needs of men in our community, ensuring that each patient receives comprehensive and personalized care. His expertise and dedication make him an invaluable asset to our mission of promoting men's health and well-being.

Eric Atencio, MSN, FNP-C
Medical Provider
Eric Atencio is a highly experienced Nurse Practitioner with a distinguished background in both military and civilian healthcare. He began his medical career in the army as a nurse, where his dedication and commitment to excellence led him to serve alongside the world’s top providers in critical care, burn units, and en-route critical care medicine. Eric holds a Master of Family Nurse Practitioner and a Master of Nursing Education from the University of North Alabama, along with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a minor in Military Science.
At Men's Wellness of North Alabama, Eric specializes in managing acute and chronic illnesses specific to male patients. His approach emphasizes lifestyle modifications and preventive care, including guidance on diet, exercise, and hormone balance. He is also highly skilled in managing hormone replacement therapy, particularly for low testosterone. With a focus on disease prevention, getting to the root of the dysfunction, staying informed on the latest advancements in men’s health, Eric ensures that each patient receives comprehensive, personalized care.

Lucas Hornsby, NRP
General Manager
Hormone Replacement Therapy Tech (HRT Tech)
Lucas "Luke" Hornsby serves as the hormone replacement specialist and manager at Men's Wellness of North Alabama. Driven by a passion for healthcare from a young age, Luke became an EMT before even graduating high school and went on to complete his paramedic training, dedicating years of service to the community. A graduate of Muscle Shoals High School, he furthered his medical education at Northwest Shoals, where he honed the skills that now make him an expert in patient care.
Luke is deeply committed to providing personalized and compassionate care to each patient he encounters. He believes in the importance of understanding individual health needs and works closely with patients to create tailored hormone replacement plans. His approach focuses on open communication and education, ensuring that patients feel informed and empowered throughout their treatment process. Luke takes the time to listen to concerns, address questions, and celebrate progress, fostering a supportive environment that promotes overall well-being.
Luke has a strong passion for sports and fitness—you can regularly find him in the gym, fully committed to his workouts. He brings an invaluable wealth of knowledge, experience, and leadership to the team at Men's Wellness of North Alabama, ensuring that patients receive top-tier care and support on their health journeys. -
Nick Posey
Patient Coordinator
Nick brings over 7 years of frontline medical experience to our team, serving in various roles across emergency departments and ambulance services in Alabama and Florida. As our Patient Coordinator, he’s the first point of contact for both new and existing patients—managing in-person and remote communication, scheduling, treatment coordination, and payment processing with professionalism and empathy.
Fluent in Spanish at an intermediate level, Nick helps bridge communication gaps and ensures patients feel understood and supported from the very first conversation. With a background as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician and a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, he blends clinical experience with excellent interpersonal skills.
Outside the clinic, Nick enjoys life with his wife and is always seeking opportunities to grow alongside the practice as we continue to expand.

Hormone Replacement Therapy Tech (HRT Tech)
Alex brings nearly a decade of experience as a paramedic to our team, with a strong foundation in emergency medical services and hands-on patient care. As our HRT Tech, he plays a key role in preparing and administering hormone therapy, supporting clinical workflows, and ensuring that each treatment is delivered safely and effectively.
In addition to hormone replacement services, Alex assists with walk-in appointments and routine primary care visits, offering frontline support to patients with acute needs or general health concerns. His background in emergency medicine makes him exceptionally well-suited to handle a wide range of clinical presentations with calm confidence and clinical precision.
Outside the clinic, Alex teaches in the Emergency Medical Services Department at Northwest Shoals Community College and enjoys hiking and backpacking through North Alabama’s scenic trails.

Dr. Jessica Rogers, DO
Medical Director
Dr. Jessica Rogers serves as the medical director at Men's Wellness of North Alabama, where she also sees patients. You will find Dr. Rogers working in the emergency department, at the clinic, or with her family, all while carrying the biggest smile possible. Born and raised in Muscle Shoals, AL, Dr. Rogers earned her Bachelor's degree in Biology with honors from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, with minors in Spanish, Chemistry, and Psychology. She completed her medical education at DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine with honors, followed by a residency in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Rogers has a passion for pre-hospital care and works with first responders to further aid her community's healthcare capabilities.
Passionate about her community, she believes men deserve a specialized place where they can be the focus of care. Married and a mother of three children, Dr. Rogers is active in local events and is committed to providing comprehensive health support to the men of her hometown.

Dr. Thomas Draper, MD
Medical Provider
Dr. Thomas Draper has been with Men's Wellness since its inception, providing significant medical leadership. He has supported the clinic's vision and continues to work with the team to provide world-class medical care to the men of this community. Dr. Draper completed his medical education at St. George’s University and his residency in Family Medicine. He earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of Mississippi in Biology and Anthropology. In addition to his role at Men's Wellness, Dr. Draper also serves the community in the emergency department and outpatient family practice.

Phlebotomist
Danielle has been a dedicated and highly skilled phlebotomist for over 30 years. She works full-time for Quest Diagnostics at Men's Wellness. With decades of experience in collecting and processing medical lab tests, including blood samples, she consistently delivers exceptional service. Known for her precision, care, and professionalism, Danielle’s expertise ensures that patients feel comfortable and well taken care of. Her dedication to her work and her warm, approachable nature make her an invaluable member of our team and a joy to work with.
